fix evolved from the Roetzer family’s shared vision of a modern, urban salon that would utilize the entire family’s skills and talents. Oldest son, Peter Roetzer – an architect – designed the studio. Inspired by the trendy Ellicott Street Neighborhood, Peter transformed the industrial space into a contemporary, state of the art salon. The family’s vision became reality when Peter Roetzer, of Peter Roetzer Concrete Construction, assisted with taking his son’s designs and giving them physical form. Rosanne Roetzer’s interior design skills further complemented the salon, and son, Michael, drew from his extensive salon experience and understanding of ergonomics to ensure a pleasant client experience. Daughter Rebecca Paul, an experienced stylist in modern hair ideals, contributed her vision of form and function. Annette, the youngest of the Roetzers and the salon’s esthetician, lent her expertise to the design and feel of the relaxing spa room. We believe that choosing a salon is an important decision. Rosanne Roetzer - Owner:
Rosanne Roetzer brings 30 years of ownership experience, professionalism, and chic styling to fix Salon. She specializes in modern styling and restorative techniques for both men and women. Rosanne has trained and mentored stylists and shares her passion for this industry. She believes getting to know each client is essential in order to give a style that not only flatters, but also fits their lifestyle. Communication is vital with a client. She holds herself to the highest standard in her work. Rosanne`s other passions for health and well-being are often overheard when she has an interested client in her chair.
Michael Roetzer - Master Hair Colorist:
Michael has extensive experience in all aspects of hair design. He began his training in Buffalo, working with his mother, Rosanne. After a rigorous apprenticeship, he continued his education in New York City. Michael pursued an internship at Edris, in Manhattan's Meatpacking District, and quickly became a sought-after stylist in the Big Apple. While working at the prestigious Bumble and Bumble Salon, Michael developed creative skills in the chemistry of hair color, formula creation, and Bumble and Bumble hair painting and highlighting techniques. During his stay at Bumble, Michael styled and colored hair for many of the most glamorous women in the world, including Mercedes-Benz Fall and Spring Fashion Week runway models. He also instructed students from across the United States in hair coloring techniques and the science of color. Michael now brings this sterling reputation and his creativity and inspiration back home to fix! Michael excels in color repair and achieving sophisticated and stylish results for every client. Staying current in the hair and fashion industries is Michael's top priority and he frequently travels back to NYC in addition to other high fashion cities
Natalie Primerano - Stylist:
Natalie just joined the salon and is an upcoming stylist. She received her education at the Salon Professional Academy and graduated as one of the top students in her class. Natalie wants to build her clientele at fix and grow with the salon. She is currently training and learning our techniques and assisting in all areas of the salon. Natalie is very passionate about what she does, not only in cutting and coloring but also with formal styling for special affairs. During her training period, she would be very interested in having you as a model to execute all the techniques she has learned. Rebecca Paul
Rebecca is especially creative in doing formal or casual styling for wedding parties.Her styling is very current and adds beauty and elegance.She will work with the bride to get that perfect look.Rebecca freelances out of the salon.Call for more information.
Annette Roetzer - Aesthetician:
Annette is a highly trained aesthetician. She possesses an expansive knowledge of techniques to care for your body and skin. She received her training from the Continental School of Beauty. Annette uses Osea, the finest natural skin care products from the sea to renew your skin and restore its natural glow. Dedicated to total rejuvenation and an escape from everyday stress, our spa provides the relief you deserve. Our spa menu offers a variety of skin care treatments and an array of massages. Take advantage, pamper yourself and don`t leave without a mani and/or a pedi.
Jeri Mittleman - Aesthetician:
Jeri became a licensed esthetician after working as a makeup artist and skin care consultant for 18 years. She attended Continental School of Beauty Culture in 2004 to attain her NY State license. She specializes in skin care treating skin issues ranging from acneic skin, rosacea, and aging skin. She also, performs lymphatic drainage pressure point facials to help firm and tone skin, minimize pore appearance, as well as help with clogged sinuses. Jeri's facials also include a reflexology massage for a total all over head to toe benefit. Jeri also holds a degree in child development and early childhood education.
